I had the supreme pleasure of meeting the creator of this comic at the Comic World convention in Busan, South Korea on July 9, 2011. He was the only other foreign artist at that convention besides my friend Jen who was contacted and invited to the con by Joseph. Voles of the Dusk juxtaposes the cuteness of small, furry rodents against a harsh post-apocalyptic future. Humans are no more and the remaining animals fight for food and resources. Some have built settlements both above and below ground. The nameless vole, named NoName, wanders the landscape surviving as best he can, clubbing others for the odd Dorito piece. NoName gets involved in hunting a dangerous animal at a settlement that was formerly a zoo in his first adventure. I won't get into spelling out the plot of the rest of the chapters. You'll have to read them yourself. This is a great read done by a great artist who has been living here in Korea for thirteen years. It's great to see foreign talent getting some more exposure over in the Land of the Morning Calm.Product details
